Dutch paint manufacturer Akzo Nobel - with brands such as Nordsjö and Cuprinol - reports slightly worse-than-expected results for the fourth quarter of last year.

Adjusted operating profit fell 4.4 percent to 217 million euros, versus an expected 227 million euros. Revenue fell 9.4 percent to 2.4 billion euros, versus an expected 2.5 billion euros.

The forecast for 2026, an operating profit of 1.47 billion euros, is also slightly lower than the 1.52 billion euros the market had expected.

Akzo Nobel - where Swedish Cevian Capital with Christer Gardell is a major owner - has a thousand employees at five facilities in Sweden.
