According to the investigation, the man has been part of the SD leader's inner circle for over a decade, but has never been a party member. He was also a guest at the SD leader's wedding and stag party last year.
In a group photo published by the newspapers from the stag party, the man is seen standing very close to Åkesson.
According to the review, the man has spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories on far-right chat forums in over a thousand posts over a period of three years.
“The Holocaust is a lie and lies must be exposed,” reads one of the posts.
In another, he writes that blacks and Arabs belong in the Auschwitz gas chambers, and that "Europe needs a new Adolf Hitler."
SD's press department writes in a comment to TT that Jimmie Åkesson is no longer friends with the man:
“Jimmie ended his relationship with this person about a year ago due to a significant change in the person’s general behavior.”
"Of course, no one has had any knowledge of this person's crazy statements. It goes without saying that no normally sane person wants to be around such nonsense," the press department further writes.
