Dubai-based Emirates, the region's largest airline, currently flies to around 100 destinations in more than 50 countries. However, the frequency of flights is 60 percent of the number of daily flights before the Iran war, which began on February 28, according to statistics from Flightradar24.
Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi, is operating at around 20 percent of the normal volume of flights, while Qatar Airways - number two in the region and based in Doha - is at around 7 percent.
Emirates states that it expects to resume its entire range of flights within a few days.
