Scheduled airlines have canceled more than 5,500 flights due to the attacks, according to research firm Cirium. This has fueled demand for charter flights from wealthy travelers and large corporations, the newspaper reports.
The price of insurance coverage against the effects of war has also risen sharply.
A 14-seat flight from Al-Qassim Airport, north of Riyadh, to Geneva cost $94,000 last week. That compares with about $60,000 before Riyadh's main airport, King Khalid International Airport, was closed on October 10.
Some Saudi travelers have also chosen to travel to airports in Bahrain and Qatar.
