So far, Indigo - which recently suspended flights to Hong Kong and Shanghai until October - has received two of the nine planes that Airbus was supposed to deliver this year. Those planes have been put into service on routes to and from Turkey and Greece.

Airbus delivery problems are slowing Indigo's ambitious expansion plans, which are also being negatively affected by high fuel prices and airspace restrictions resulting from the war.

Negotiations on new delivery terms are underway between Airbus and Interglobe Aviation.
