The number of passengers flying via state-owned Swedavia's ten airports increased by 7 percent in November compared to the same month last year, according to a press release.
International flights increased by 6 percent, while domestic flights increased by 12 percent.
In total, just over 2.5 million passengers travelled via the airports. Most of them, just over 1.8 million, flew via Arlanda outside Stockholm. Landvetter in Gothenburg came in second place with just over 380,000 passengers.
Despite the increase, air travel is far from pre-pandemic levels. Compared to November 2019, travel decreased by 16 percent.
