The flight was on its way from Phuket in Thailand to India's capital New Delhi when the threat came, according to the airport operator Airports of Thailand.
All 156 passengers on board the flight have been escorted from the plane.
The threat comes the day after an Air India plane on its way to London crashed in Ahmedabad in northwestern India. Over 240 people on board the plane lost their lives and only one person survived. Around 50 people are also believed to have died at the crash site.
