The flights were canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but are now resuming as North Korea eases border restrictions to some extent.
Earlier in March, train connections between the countries' respective capitals were also resumed.
China has long served as a lifeline for North Korea's struggling economy, as the country's largest trading partner and a key source of diplomatic and political support.
