Optimism about AIK's season has taken a hit.
The 1-1 home draw against the Allsvenskan newcomer Degerfors in the cup premiere was followed up with the same result away against the Superettan team Trelleborg.
But it looked for a long time like it would be worse than that. Thomas Isherwood saved AIK with a dream goal in stoppage time. A goal that meant a draw, and that AIK's chance to advance to the final still lives.
Several results must be settled
AIK has two points after two rounds. Both Trelleborg and Degerfors have four points, and will meet in the final match. If that match ends in anything other than a draw, AIK is out.

Celina injured
It didn't get any better when midfielder Bersant Celina was forced to leave the pitch injured in the first half on Saturday. The 28-year-old twisted his ankle in a situation and then writhed in pain.
Trelleborg's goal was scored by Filip Bohman in the 59th minute. The striker got a gap between the central defenders and made no mistakes. The 28-year-old was then sent off after receiving his second yellow card.
At the same time, Värnamo and Degerfors also met. Degerfors won 3-2.
