Andreas Redkin's football season appears to be over before it has barely begun. The 18-year-old AIK talent has suffered a cruciate ligament injury and must operate on his left knee, announces the Solna club.
The midfielder, who made his debut in AIK's A-team in the Swedish Cup in February, injured himself in the Allsvenskan home premiere against IFK Norrköping on Sunday and was carried out on a stretcher.
Now, a longer rehabilitation awaits Redkin.
