AIK lost its opening game of the Swedish ice hockey league season to Modo, but has since picked up victories and climbed to the top of the table.
After eleven straight wins - ten in regulation - AIK lost to Östersund. The home team's Maksim Semjonov, who tied the game at 1–1 late in the third period, was the only player to score in the shootout.
“I think we had the chance to score, but we didn't get it,” goalkeeper Brattström tells TV4 Play, adding:
“We get a point, that's important. Then there are losses. We shouldn't really stress about this.”
Theoklis Theocharidis scored AIK's opening goal.
