With a victory against Kristianstad, AIK would have moved past third-placed Malmö FF, but now it was a heavy defeat instead.
In the 11th minute, Hanna Ekengren easily put her foot out to make it 1-0 from a low cross. In the 24th minute, Elin Hansson was able to extend Kristianstad's lead, despite having three AIK players around her. In added time in the first half, Hansson scored her second goal of the day from a corner.
"We're not winning first balls and we're not winning second balls. We have to step it up a bit," AIK's Jennie Nordin told Viaplay at half-time.
There were no more goals in the second half, and the match ended 0-3.
