In the beginning of the first half, AIK midfielder Johan Hove was left bleeding. A large cut under his right eye had to be bandaged properly, and the Norwegian had to change both his jersey and shorts before he could continue.
Despite the blow, it was Hove who could capitalize on Bersant Celina's shot and make it 1-0 for AIK.
Despite the lead, Sotirios Papagiannopoulos was not satisfied at halftime.

BP had a lot of the game even in the second half, and it didn't get any easier when team captain Anton Saletros received his second yellow card and was sent off.

The visiting team took the lead in the 50th minute through Simon Gustafson after a fine attack. Djurgården could, however, respond when August Priske delivered a fine finish.
In the second half, there was a handball situation in Häcken's penalty area when Priske's shot hit Marius Lode's arm.
The Djurgården players didn't make a big deal out of the situation. Their supporters right behind the goal shouted for a penalty, but got no response from referee Adi Aganovic.
Lode also saved a shot on the goal line earlier in the half.
