AIK supporters are not allowed to use large flags or banners during the next five away matches in the Swedish Hockey League. This is part of the punishment from the Swedish Ice Hockey Association after fans lit pyrotechnics during an away match.

The Solnaklubben is being punished for an incident away against Västerås on October 17, AIK states on its website.

In addition to a penalty, the association's competition committee has imposed a ban on fan items in the away stands during the period November 12–28. During this time, AIK will play five away matches – for example, a heated county derby against Södertälje.

"The supporter items that the ban refers to are all forms of overhead flags, banners, flags on sticks, pieces of fabric, sheets of paper and the like," AIK writes.
