AIK has secured a replacement for goal king Ioannis Pittas.
It will be Pittas' Cypriot national team colleague Andronikos Kakoullis who will be recruited.
The 23-year-old striker from Omonia Nicosia has signed a contract with the Stockholm team until June 30, 2028.
Kakoullis has scored 45 goals in 208 competitive matches for Omonia Nicosia and has scored four goals in 24 national team matches.
AIK previously sold Ioannis Pittas to CSKA Sofia earlier this winter. Pittas finished third in the Allsvenskan top scorer league last season with 14 goals.
"It is with great pleasure that we can present Andronikos as an AIK player. He is a young forward who has managed to gather significant experience during his time in Cyprus", says AIK's sports manager Thomas Berntsen to the club's website.
The Allsvenskan starts on March 29.
