The 18-month entry ban meant that the AIK employee was not allowed to attend any matches in elite football.

Troubling for the person who worked as an SLO (Supporter Liaison Officer) and thus served as a link between the supporters and the club.

The court's decision to repeal the entry ban is welcomed by the employee's lawyer Isidor Vistedt:

It was a groundless entry ban from the very beginning. It was grounded in two different events that had arisen in connection with my performing their job. My client has intervened between the police and supporters to try to calm down situations.

AIK is also satisfied.

Our staff should not have to be worried about getting an entry ban when they perform their work. An SLO's work is about preventing disorder, an entry ban for an SLO thus contributes to more uncertain arrangements which is extremely counterproductive, says CEO and club director Fredrik Söderberg.
