It was yesterday evening that rumours began to spread on social media regarding AIK player Diogo Tomas. On X, several people wrote that he had injured himself after an accident on an electric scooter.

That is not true, according to AIK.

"AIK Football does not comment on rumours, but since people are really mean, I'm killing the VOI thing here," writes the club's communications manager Tobias Larsson on X and continues:

"It's a completely normal injury that occurred during a collision in yesterday's training. Maximum bad luck."

It is unclear how serious the injury is.

"We haven't realised that the season is over. On the contrary, it could just as easily go quickly, and there may be an opportunity to play with protection. We will come back to that in our official channels," writes Larsson.
