Söderberg has been CEO of AIK Fotboll AB and club director of AIK Football Association, but now he and the club have agreed that he will leave the positions.
"The decision is based on the club entering a new strategic phase, with a need for new leadership," AIK writes.
Söderberg will remain at the club until a replacement is in place.
"His commitment, creativity and sense of what AIK means have been invaluable," says Mikael Jomer, chairman of the board of AIK Football.
AIK says that a new recruitment process has begun.
