Ten minutes into the derby, AIK took the lead when Linus Carlstrand scored with a fine finish to make it 1-0. Fifteen minutes later, Carlstrand struck again and scored his fourth goal in three games for AIK.

After just under 40 minutes, Johan Hove extended the lead after a corner, and it was 3-0 at halftime.

"It's embarrassing. It's not acceptable," Djurgården's Kristian Lien told TV4 at halftime.

In the second half, the home team came out stronger and after five minutes Bo Hegland reduced the deficit. Despite having the better of the play, Djurgården did not create any more chances and the match ended 3-1.

It's indescribable, this is what you live for as a football player, says Sixten Gustafsson.

The spring derby between the teams ended 4-2 to Dif.

AIK is third in the table, Djurgården fifth.
