This summer, football club AIK announced that Fredrik Söderberg was stepping down as CEO and club director but would remain in the role until a replacement was found.
The club has chosen Swedish Floorball Association (the national governing body for floorball) General Secretary Christer Abrahamsson, who will take up the role once his current assignment is complete, AIK writes on its website.
The Swedish Floorball Association said in a press release that Abrahamsson had resigned and would remain in his post during his notice period.
"I feel enormous pride at having the opportunity to represent AIK Football. The work the club has done in recent years to develop a clear strategy and long-term direction has impressed me," he tells AIK's website.
