Linda Sembrant has had a long and successful career, at club and national team level. She made her debut in Blågult in 2008 and has played a total of 160 international matches. Her list of achievements includes World Cup bronzes in 2011 and 2019, and an Olympic silver medal from 2016.
"The last few days have been incredibly emotional but also very nice. It's sad to leave the football I've lived with my whole life, but it's fantastic to do it and start a new life, literally," says the defender in a press release.
Linda Sembrant has played for big clubs, such as Juventus and Bayern Munich.
