By 2026, just over six in 10 Swedes will use AI, compared with four in 10 last year. In its report, the Internet Foundation writes that the largest increase is among people born in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, and that women have caught up with men in usage.
Just over half of AI users say that AI helps them get more done, for example at work. And one in five users uses their AI service as an extra friend.
The report also shows that almost eight in 10 Swedes have a digital mailbox. Among the oldest people, aged 76 and over, one in four feel that the service makes everyday life more difficult for them.
