Advertising spots during this year's Super Bowl are more expensive than ever, as AI giants have entered the battle for viewer interest in earnest.
A 30-second commercial on Sunday night's big TV event costs an average of $8 million, equivalent to around SEK 72 million. The most expensive ones are around $10 million. Add to that the cost of producing the ad itself.
As the price deters many companies, the tech giants are stepping forward. All the major AI companies will have a commercial during the broadcast for the first time, and several lesser-known ones will join them, writes CNBC.
In addition to ads for various AI services from giants Google, Meta, Amazon and Anthropic, other companies will also use AI to promote their services and products.
