Norway's minority government, led by Jonas Gahr Støre (AP) as Prime Minister, has reached a budget agreement with three other parties after weeks of uncertainty. Among other things, it will stop mining on the seabed for the entire term of office.

The Labor Party (AP) has brought the Center Party (SP), the left-wing party Rødt, the environmental party MDG and the Socialist Left Party (SV) into the settlement.

The budget will be formally presented for decision in the Storting on Friday.

A price guarantee for solar power and more money for climate investments and forest protection were points that were added during the last round of negotiations.

There will also be a halt to mining on the Norwegian seabed for the entire term of office.

A proposal to stop the establishment of cryptocurrency data centers will also be developed. There will also be a support package for the Gaza Strip of 1 billion Norwegian kroner.
