Experienced Finnish center Oula Palve, 33, is ready for the rest of the season.
Djurgården received just over one million kronor when the SHL club asked for support from fans for new players. Earlier this week, the team finalized Malmö's Daniel Marmenlind as the new second goalie behind Magnus Hellberg.
It is now clear that Palve is joining from Swiss club Kloten on a contract that begins on November 30th.
"As Linus Klasen suffered a long-term injury early in the season and with a World Cup awaiting several of our talents, there has been a need to broaden the forward side," says sports director Niklas Wikegård to Djurgård's website.
Oula Palve has previously played in the SHL for Brynäs and Linköping.
