Jonna Sundling achieved a successful stretch during Friday's women's relay. However, it has been uncertain for a long time whether she plans to run the final five-mile race.
Now it is clear that this will be the case. The 30-year-old is one of five Swedish women running the final competition at the World Championship in Trondheim.
She needed a night's sleep, and then she was ready. In the form she is in, she feels that she is mentally ready, and then there was a spot available for her, says women's coach Stefan Thomson.
Besides Sundling, Frida Karlsson, Ebba Andersson, Maja Dahlqvist, and Moa Ilar will also be running.
The women's five-mile race starts at 11:30 on Sunday.
