Quarterback star Aaron Rodgers came to the American football club New York Jets as a savior, but he tore his Achilles tendon just a few minutes into last year's NFL premiere.
Now the 40-year-old was back on the field, but it ended with a loss for Jets away against San Francisco 49ers with 19–32. Rodgers led Jets to a short 3-yard touchdown and accounted for 13 successful passes, but there was also a throw where the opponent could take over the ball.
I can play better. I missed some passes, says Rodgers.
Rodgers made 18 seasons in Green Bay before leaving the club for New York Jets before last season. In Green Bay, he led the team to, among other things, the Super Bowl title in the 2010–2011 season and has been voted the league's most valuable player four times.
