Lagerquist has suffered a foot injury and has not been available to play during Sweden's first two matches in the World Cup group stage in Stuttgart.
"The results from the training and tests have been positive and she has been cleared to play by the medical team," the national team writes in the press release.
Sweden has started with two straight wins in the Handball World Championship, against the Czech Republic and Cuba, and are already ready for the intermediate round which begins on Wednesday.
But first, there's a meeting with Brazil for the group victory. The match starts at 8:30 PM tonight.
