"The logistics in the family are simply too difficult. That's the main reason I'm leaving - the family is staying in Norway, and it will be easier for me to work closer to them," the Norwegian says in a statement.
Arne Sandstø joined Värnamo in May. At the time, the club had started the Allsvenskan with seven losses and one draw. Sandstø increased the points tally, but Värnamo was still 13 points behind IFK Norrköping in the qualifying place after 30 rounds.
Värnamo's sports director Jörgen Pettersson announces that the club aims to have a new coaching staff ready before the team starts up again in January.
