The big cheating scandal doesn't seem to be bothering Canada's men's curling team. In the Olympic curling semi-final, the Canadians beat Norway in a thrilling match and have thus secured at least a silver medal.

A tiebreaker was required, but with the advantage of the last stone, Marc Kennedy and the rest of Canada's team secured the country's seventh final in the last eight Winter Games with a 5–4 win.

Kennedy in particular has been in the spotlight during the Olympics in Italy.

In the third-round group stage match against Sweden, Niklas Edin's team felt Canada was cheating. Kennedy did not appreciate that. "Fuck off," he repeatedly replied to the Swedes - repeatedly.

But Canada, which faces Great Britain in the final, appears to have left that behind. In the bronze medal match, Norway will face Switzerland.
