In a hovercraft, Russian soldiers crossed the border into Estonia and patrolled an area along a pier on Wednesday morning, before returning to Russia.
Now Estonia is marking time by summoning Russia's chargé d'affaires - the highest-ranking diplomat in the country, reports the Estonian public service broadcaster ERR.
The reason for the intrusion is unclear. However, on the Estonian side, the police and border guards have increased their presence.
