"Safety is our most important issue," press spokesperson Cecilia Björling writes in an email to TT.
The man had stepped off the attraction and was on his way out when the accident occurred, Björling said. He was taken to the hospital, but without serious injuries.
According to Cecilia Björling, there is nothing wrong with the ride:
"We are currently working to get the full picture of the incident, what happened, how it could have happened and what we can do to prevent something like this from happening again," she writes.
She emphasizes that the rides are inspected every day and that it is safe to ride them "as long as you follow Gröna Lund's rules."
