On an early November morning a convicted murderer was attacked with a machete in central Stockholm. The attack was said to be revenge for the murder of a mother of a young child 13 years earlier, writes Expressen .
The victim was found by passersby and said he had been attacked by an unknown man armed with a machete.
The injured man had recently served a sentence for the murder of a mother of a young child with whom he had previously been in a relationship.
According to the investigation, the perpetrator allegedly said "you killed my mother" before attacking. After the attack, he fled the scene in a car, leaving the machete in the street.
The suspected perpetrator, who was arrested in absentia, was the woman's then 20-year-old son.
