A father convicted of the murder of his two children is being moved to a women's institution after changing his legal gender. Following the announcement, the Christian Democrats are calling the Director General of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service to parliament.

The father is sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his two children. After changing her legal gender, she will now be moved to a women's prison.

The Christian Democrats are now calling the Director General of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service to the Riksdag. The chairman of the Social Affairs Committee, Christian Carlsson (KD), believes that the move can provide clarity on how the new legislation on gender identity should be applied.

The law affects, among other things, rules on changing legal gender and rules within the Prison Act.

Since we now have an example of a person sentenced to life imprisonment who changed their legal gender while in prison, it is relevant, says Christian Carlsson.

In the long run, KD wants to see the rules changed.

We believe that the new legislation should be dismantled, says Christian Carlsson.
