"It is with both excitement and anticipation that I now return to IK Sävehof and in some way get a fresh start in my career," Koppang says in a press release.
The 24-year-old right-hander took a break from handball in January this year for personal reasons, her then-club, Team Esbjerg, announced.
"It's been a few months since she played handball, but together we will give her the best possible conditions to reach the level that we know she possesses," says Sävehof coach Isabelle Gulldén.
Koppang has scored 87 goals in 50 senior international matches.
