"Gruffalo" will be published on September 10 this year, and for the first time the Gruffalo's grandmother is included in the story. Julia Donaldson has written the Gruffalo books in verse, which were previously translated into Swedish by Lennart Hellsing. He is now succeeded by the poet Lotta Olsson.
As before, the illustrations are by Axel Scheffler.
The first two books about The Gruffalo have sold 18.2 million copies worldwide, according to the Swedish publisher.
