Forward Adrian Kempe is on fire in overtime. For the second match in a row, the NHL Swede stepped forward and shot Los Angeles to victory.

Night to Wednesday, it was St Louis Kempe who scored in overtime. Now it was Dallas who got to experience that the Olympic Games-selected Swede is a match winner.

Only 37 seconds into overtime on the away ice, the 29-year-old sent in a direct shot behind Dallas goalkeeper Jake Oettinger. The goal was Kempe's fourth for the season and in total, he stands at eleven points after eight played matches.

Kempe is one of six Tre Kronor players who the national team captain Sam Hallam has selected in advance to the Olympic Games in Milan in February.

In Madison Square Garden in New York, San Jose's 19-year-old super talent Macklin Celebrini had a big evening. The Canadian responded with a hat-trick and two assists when San Jose won 6–5 against New York Rangers after overtime. Mika Zibanejad scored for the home team.

It was probably a fun match to watch, but maybe not for the coaches, says the Swedish San Jose forward William Eklund, who had three assists, to Aftonbladet.
