Los Angeles' Adrian Kempe scored the decisive goal when Vegas was defeated with 6–5 in tonight's NHL.
The 28-year-old from Kramfors stepped forward more than halfway into the third period and scored 6–3 in numerical superiority. Kempe was also credited with an assist and was named one of the match's stars.
Vegas was trailing 3–0 a couple of minutes into the second period, but managed to stay in the game – largely thanks to the Czech Tomas Hertl, who scored a hat-trick.
