The series about a 13-year-old boy accused of the murder of a girl of the same age won four awards, including Best Miniseries, a new record, according to the BBC.
16-year-old Owen Cooper, who played the 13-year-old, can now add the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor to his already large collection of awards for the same performance.
Stephen Graham, who played the boy's father and is also the series' co-creator, received the award for Best Actor and Christine Tremarco, who played the mother, received the award for Best Actress.
The series draws attention to contemporary phenomena such as misogynistic online provocateurs. Among others, Prime Minister Keir Starmer said politicians must address violence against girls.
