Adeyemi's hat-trick show - sank Celtic

After 42 minutes of the Champions League match at home against Celtic, the star sprinted towards the audience and held up three fingers in the air.

One for each goal that Karim Adeyemi scored during the first half.

Cannon goals by the star

And they were no bad full hits either.

+ 2–1 after 11 minutes. Julian Brandt hit the ball deep, Adeyemi sprinted – and scored the leading goal via a defender's leg.

+ 3–1 in the 29th minute. The 22-year-old has an incredible left foot, which he has shown before, and now he did it again. Adeyemi slammed the ball from the corner of the penalty area and the projectile stopped only when it reached the net behind goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

+ 5–1 in the 42nd minute. Celtic stumbled in the game in front of the penalty area, Adeyemi got hold of the ball and scored his hat-trick goal next to the first post.

Three minutes into the second half, the show was over.

Adeyemi injured himself, was substituted, and replaced by 18-year-old Julien Duranville.

Dortmund got a fine start to the Champions League season with a 3–0 win over Club Brugge and also started strongly against Celtic.

Already in the seventh minute, Emre Can set 1–0 on a penalty – but the joy was short-lived.

Two minutes later, Daizen Maeda equalized.

A couple of minutes into the match, Karim Adeyemi entered the action for real, and he saw to it with his hat-trick that the meeting with Celtic was decided.

Serhou Guirassy became a two-goal scorer in the big win.

Double for Lewandowski

In Spanish Barcelona, home player Robert Lewandowski provided a lot of entertainment – when he scored two goals in the 5–0 match against Young Boys.

The win was Barça's first after the opening loss to Monaco.

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta's friendly match against Luis Enrique's Paris SG became most entertaining for the former.

The London club won 2–0 after goals by Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka.

I think we played very well, especially in the first half. The second was a bit passive, but it was a good match, says Havertz in Viaplay's broadcast.

Swedish national team striker Viktor Gyökeres, who scored a goal in the premiere, was goalless in Sporting Lisbon's 1–1 away match against PSV Eindhoven.
