Another case of measles has been discovered in Östergötland, reports Norrköpings Tidningar.

Earlier this week, the region announced that a person had been infected following a stay abroad. The person is said to have been at an event venue in Finspång before seeking care, according to SVT Nyheter Öst.

Infection tracing is now underway and information has been sent out to people who may have been on the premises.

If you experience symptoms, such as fever or rash, you should contact healthcare services.

It may take a couple of weeks to recover. The important thing now is that we don't get a general spread in society, says infectious disease physician Britt Åkerlind to NT.

The two infected are in their upper teens and are reported to be unvaccinated.
