Actress and Singer Eva Bysing Passes Away at 82

The actress and singer Eva Bysing is dead. She became 82 years old.

Bysing passed away during the night towards Friday, September 26, after a period of illness, confirms her stepson for Aftonbladet.

Eva Bysing began her career as a hostess in ”Hylands hörna” in the 1960s. She made her record debut in 1966 with ”I come from Västmanland”, which was written by Thore Skogman.

During the 70s, Bysing belonged to Riksteatern's ensemble and played leading roles in productions such as ”The Merry Widow” and ”Annie Get Your Gun”. She also participated in a number of revues together with, among others, Skogman, Tjadden Hellström and Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt, and was frequently hired by private theaters.

Together with Bert-Åke Varg, she achieved success in the entertainment program ”Fint som snus” in the late 70s. The two also played against each other in the long-running series ”Rederiet”, where Bysing in the 90s became nationally known as Irma Larsson, which she played for eight seasons.
