The crimes the 27-year-old is suspected of are alleged to have been committed against a woman and, according to the police, took place in January 2023.
Ward is, among other things, known for the series ”Top Boy”, ”Small Axe” and the film ”Blue Story”. He was awarded a Bafta award for the latter in 2020.
Ward was nominated for a Bafta for both ”Top Boy” and ”Small Axe”.
He also appears in the American western film ”Eddington” which premieres in Sweden at the beginning of August.
