An Albuquerque police investigator filed the report, and an arrest warrant for Busfield has been issued.
According to the complaint, a child alleges Busfield touched him inappropriately. The incident allegedly occurred during the filming of the television series "The Cleaning Lady," where Busfield was both an actor and director.
The boy said the abuse occurred on two occasions: first when he was 7 and again when he was 8. According to the report, the boy's mother told the child welfare authority that the events occurred between November 2022 and spring 2024.
Busfield's lawyer has not commented.
Timothy Busfield has appeared in several films and television series, including the series "Life Around Thirty" and "White House" and the film "The Independent" from 2022.
