GIF Sundsvall is on a six-game losing streak, with the defeat to Ljungskile on Thursday being the decisive blow.
"As we have all seen at the beginning of the season, we have not performed in an acceptable manner. The situation is serious and since the loss to Brage on April 20, we have analyzed the situation and sought solutions," writes chairman Stefan Söderlund.
Sundsvall also announced that assistant coaches Ion Doros Guler and Carl Paulsson will lead the team until further notice. Their first match will be against Landskrona on Monday. In parallel, work is underway to find the club's new head coach.
