Alfredo Fiorito, as he was actually called, started his career at the legendary nightclub Amnesia, writes The Guardian. He was one of the most influential within electronic dance music.

DJ Alfredo also played at clubs like Pacha and Space on Ibiza, often every night of the week, as well as in other countries.
He is being hailed on social media by clubs and DJ colleagues such as Sister Bliss, Dave Pearce, and former Happy Mondays member Rowetta.
"Sad to hear that Ibiza's dance music legend DJ Alfredo has passed away – he was a true pioneer of the Ibiza Balearic sound", writes Dave Pearce.
Alfredo Fiorito died after a period of illness, 71 years old.
