Academedia reports an operating profit of 499 million kronor for the broken fiscal year's third quarter, concluded in March. It can be compared to the profit of 422 million kronor during the corresponding quarter a year earlier.

The net sales increased by 9.2 percent to approximately 5 billion. It was a slightly smaller increase than what analysts had counted on, according to Bloomberg.

Academedia's CEO presents in the report new strategic goals, including that 50 percent of the operations shall be outside Swedish school and that Academedia shall run 200 preschools in Germany.

The goal is also to continue growing within private education and adult education and establish the company in new countries.

"The expansion in Germany and the Netherlands is a central part of our strategy to establish Academedia as a leading European education company. It gives us scalability, experience, and a strong platform for further international establishment", writes Academedia's CEO Marcus Strömberg in the report.
