The people were dismissed after police discovered links to serious organized crime and the Death Patrol network, according to the newspaper's information.
The dismissed staff are said to have come from a staffing company, according to the newspaper, and the SiS home is a treatment centre for boys aged 12 to 16.
The police reportedly received information about connections to a criminal network in Stockholm during an investigation.
SiS confirms in an email that a number of summer temporary workers at the home in question have recently "been released from work before their temporary work ends, and that we have also ended a small number of probationary positions."
SiS states that information has emerged that the employees were unsuitable for work at the home, and emphasises how important it is that the children and young people living in the homes are safe.
"We therefore acted quickly to deal with the situation. The individuals no longer have access to their homes or our systems," SiS writes.
The agency is investigating the incident, and says it cannot provide any further information.
