Going into the third round, Åberg was in fourth place, at seven under par. After a tough third round, he is three under par overall.
The competition's other Swede, Alex Norén, is climbing the leaderboard, however. He made five birdies in the third round and is currently seven under par, which means he is tied for sixth place heading into the fourth and decisive round.
