Åberg went the first round on five under par and the second day started well with four birdies on the first six holes.

But then came the problems and during the second round's last seven holes, there were three bogeys and one birdie.

Ludvig Åberg is thus tied for fifth on a total of seven under par.

Åberg's problem was, however, a left-handed swing against Cameron Young, USA, who led after the first day when he was credited with 64 strokes.

On the second round, it was eleven strokes worse, 75 strokes, and Young fell to a tied tenth place.

Scottie Scheffler went on eight under par and is a total of -13.

American compatriots Akshay Bhatia and Justin Thomas are closest after on -11.
